Why We Celebrate Teacher’s Day: Teacher’s Day is celebrated on the 5th of September every year in India, commemorating the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a revered philosopher, scholar, and former President of India. When his students wanted to celebrate his birthday, he humbly requested that they observe it as Teacher’s Day to honor all educators. This day reminds us of the importance of teachers in molding students into capable, thoughtful, and compassionate individuals.
