A college which has given excellent results in the field of B.Sc Agricultural studies and known as an excellent B.Sc Agriculture college in Dehradun. B.Sc (agriculture) course has been started in D.D College with a vision to impart in depth knowledge of agricultural sciences and train students in developing expertise in frontier areas of agriculture and horticulture for a sustainable agricultural production .This course is affiliated to H.N.B Garhwal University. This program curriculum includes courses in crop production, horticulture techniques, bio-technology and farm engineering together with a relevant laboratory programs and a research project leading to a dissertation. The students are specifically groomed for R & D and Industry. The department has a strong interdisciplinary research and training base in agriculture biotechnological sciences and engineering which prepare the students for academics, industry and research.
