Dehradun (8 Nov): On the occasion of Uttarakhand’s Silver Jubilee, D.D. College, Dehradun organized a special programme focusing on the state’s development, challenges, and future prospects. Students actively participated in discussions highlighting the role of youth in shaping Uttarakhand’s progress.
The Law Department hosted the event under its awareness initiative, organizing a “Youth Dialogue Session.” The programme was inaugurated by lighting the ceremonial lamp by former Cabinet Minister Mahavir Singh Rangad and social activist Chandan Singh.
The event was conducted in two sessions, under the guidance of Principal Dr. Praveen Kumar Rathi. Institution Chairman Mr. Jitender Yadav and Principal Dr. Jyotsna Ramola warmly welcomed the guests and encouraged students to take inspiration from Uttarakhand’s journey of progress.
In the first session, students discussed state formation, public participation, and administrative challenges. The second session featured a Youth Assembly focusing on the issue of migration and ways to strengthen local opportunities.
The programme concluded with the message of empowering the youth to contribute towards the state’s sustainable growth and future.
