B.Ed is a professional course offered for those who are interested in teaching related fields. The duration of program is 2 years divided in 4 semesters. Each semester contains different papers related to education field. The course is running successfully in D.D.College since 2005 and still continues to develop skills and widen understanding to impart quality education to our society. B.Ed course is affiliated to Sri Dev Suman University. All instructional and infrastructural facilities are as per norms and the faculty is dedicated to impart quality teacher’s education.
Admission Procedure
The B.ed students are admitted through entrance test organized by central body at the state level. From time to time changes are made as per the state government directives
Co-curricular activities
For improving the overall personality of the B.ed students seminars ,workshops,lectures of subject experts are held in the department. For promoting general skills among the students, programs like debates, dramatics, quiz, essay competitions ,social extention activities etc are arranged in the department . In this way , following the NCTE guidelines , the Department of Teachers Education always tries to prepare the students to be effective teachers as well as good citizens also.
