B.Sc (agriculture) course has been started in D.D College with a vision to impart in depth knowledge of agricultural sciences and train students in developing expertise in frontier areas of agriculture and horticulture for a sustainable agricultural production .This course is affiliated to H.N.B Garhwal University. This program curriculum includes courses in crop production, horticulture techniques, bio-technology and farm engineering together with a relevant laboratory programs and a research project leading to a dissertation. The students are specifically groomed for R & D and Industry. The department has a strong interdisciplinary research and training base in agriculture biotechnological sciences and engineering which prepare the students for academics, industry and research.
